Held annually since 1976, this event relives the Middle Ages with arts and crafts, food, games, jousting tournaments, human chess games, costume contests, and more.

The Medieval Fair of Norman is the state's largest weekend event and the third largest event in Oklahoma, and was selected by Events Media Network as one of the top 100 events in the nation. Browse through the medieval village of over 200 art and craft booths offering unique and handcrafted wares.
Offerings include pottery, wood crafts, stained glass, armor, costumes, fairy wings, jewelry, leather crafts, hair garlands, and much more. Watch master crafters demonstrating their skills. COME HUNGRY!
Lots of food available -- from Funnel Cakes to Turkey Legs and Lemonade! It's three days long! It used to be at the OU Duckpond -- but it became so large now that it's now held at Reaves Park.

This is a great place for people watching! But look out for land mines left by dogs! I stepped into a big one last year...They must not of had pooper scoopers in the Medieval days.
I'm totally going to this Valhalla of Uberdom. I shall let my inner-warrior out and I will be known as Joxter "The Lurikeen!" on this hallowed of holidays!
This is where you can meet your World of Warcraft friends (I did one time)...they have great belly dancing too. 10 points for anyone carrying a mace or wearing a Viking helmet.
My husband and I never miss this event. We've been going for more then 15 years. Started going when it was at the Duck Pond and now we love it at Reaves Park. The vendors are great and love people. The crafts are exquisite. The shows are fun. We do miss the walking tree though. I was amazed how this person walked around the park all day on stilts dressed as an old tree. This is one event we mark on our calendars. Maybe this year we will dress in the period customes. Come out and experience it for yourselves!
Lord John GrayWolf & Lady Ameera here of "RealmWear LLC" and we would greatly enjoy to welcome all visitors & friends to the Norman Medieval Fair! We hope to be back at our prior location, Booth 17 next to Jenkins Ave. and just a short distance from the SCA Compound. We are working on our inventory / wares now and please see us for our beautiful hand-thrown stoneware, scented candles and leather wares!
