Syndicated New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, author of The World is Flat and The Lexus and the Olive Tree, has helped millions of readers see globalization in a new way. His common-sense approach to today's world is fearless, incisive and forward-looking.

Named one of America's Best Leaders by U.S. News and World Report, Friedman proposes an ambitious national "green" strategy to save the planet and make America healthier, richer, more productive, and more secure in his latest book, Hot, Flat, and Crowded.

Friedman's 2002 book, Longitudes and Attitudes: Exploring the World After September 11, is a collection of his post-9/11 columns, for which he won his third Pulitzer Prize. His Tulsa appearance occurs on the 7th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.
