Home to the Oklahoma City Blazers (Central Hockey League) and the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz (arena football), the Ford Center also served as a temporary home for the New Orleans Hornets (2005-06 and 2006-07 NBA Seasons) and plays host to major concerts.

Thank you Mayor Mick! This is going to make OKC a better place to live. Seattle - give it up! You don't want them, we do. It is time for a change and we've shown that we are a city that will support OUR NBA Team and we choose the SONICS. We opened our city for the Hornets and now look at them! This is a big day for Oklahoma City and we should all be proud.
